- Educational and learning purposes in controlled environments
By using Exposurix, you confirm that you have obtained all necessary authorizations before running any scan, test, or monitoring function against any system, network, or account.
2. No Liability for Misuse
Exposurix and its operators, developers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Unauthorized use of the platform or its tools
- Illegal penetration testing or network scanning activities
- Data breaches, system damage, or service disruption caused by misuse
- Any actions taken based on information provided by the platform
- Third-party actions resulting from the improper use of scan results
3. Compliance with Applicable Laws
Users are solely responsible for ensuring their use of Exposurix complies with all applicable local, provincial, federal, and international laws, including but not limited to:
- Canada: Criminal Code of Canada (Section 342.1 — Unauthorized Use of Computer)
- United States: Computer Fraud and Abuse Act (CFAA), Electronic Communications Privacy Act
- European Union: Directive on Attacks Against Information Systems (2013/40/EU), GDPR
- United Kingdom: Computer Misuse Act 1990
- Any other jurisdiction-specific cybersecurity and data protection legislation

4. Third-Party Data and Services
Exposurix integrates with third-party services including HaveIBeenPwned (HIBP), NOWPayments, PayPal, and others. We do not control and are not responsible for:
- The accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data provided by third-party sources
- Availability or reliability of third-party APIs and services
- Privacy practices of integrated third-party platforms
- Any changes to third-party services that may affect Exposurix functionality
Breach data displayed through Exposurix is sourced from publicly available databases and should not be treated as a complete or definitive security assessment.
5. No Warranty
Exposurix is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Guarantees of uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation
- Accuracy or completeness of scan results, breach data, or security assessments
- Guarantee that the service will meet your specific security requirements
6. Responsible Disclosure
If you discover vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, or sensitive data during the use of Exposurix tools, you are legally and ethically obligated to:
- Immediately cease any further access to affected systems
- Not exploit, copy, or disclose the discovered information to unauthorized parties
- Report findings directly to the affected organization through responsible disclosure channels
- Follow coordinated vulnerability disclosure practices as outlined by organizations such as FIRST or CERT
7. Prohibited Activities
The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement:
- Scanning or probing systems, networks, or services without explicit written authorization
- Using scan results to conduct further unauthorized attacks or intrusions
- Scraping, harvesting, or redistributing breach data obtained through the platform
- Attempting to circumvent the platform's authentication, rate limiting, or access controls
- Using the platform to facilitate harassment, stalking, doxxing, or targeted attacks against individuals
- Reselling, redistributing, or commercializing platform outputs without authorization
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Exposurix, its operators, employees, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use or misuse of the platform, violation of these terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
9. Modifications
Exposurix reserves the right to modify this disclaimer at any time. Continued use of the platform after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised disclaimer.
